Assigning Personal Goal(s) Within Performance Reviews
Purpose
This document outlines the process of assigning goals to an employee during the performance review process for managers at Green Leaf clients.
Please be aware that this guide is not all encompassing and that the performance review settings are customized per client. If you have any questions regarding a specific performance review within your system or its purpose, please reach out to your designated specialist or to the

Creating Personal Goal(s)
1. Log into your Elevated account and navigate from your dashboard to your to-do bell located in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
2. From your My To Do Items tab, select the Create Goals button within the to-do item for the corresponding employee as shown below:
3. Within the pop-up, select the ellipsis located in the bottom right hand corner of the screen and select Assign Personal Goal to begin as shown below:
4. Within the next screen, complete all fields listed below:
- Name - Enter the name of the goal being assigned.
- Effective From Date/Effective To Date - These date fields allow you to set dates for which the goal will be used.
- To ensure the goal is visible in performance reviews, the dates must match the Period Start Date and Period End Date set in the review.
- Active - Must be checked to appear on review (only uncheck to deactivate).
- Description - Add a description to inform reviewers and employees about this goal.
- Category - Use the drop-down to assign (if applicable).
- Enable for Performance Reviews - Check to ensure the goals flow to the performance reviews.
- Access - Ensure Public is selected to ensure the goals flow to the performance review.
- Start Date/End Date - Enter the corresponding dates.
- If the due date of the goal is outside of the review period the goal will not be able to be chosen.
- If the from date of the goal is after the review end date the goal will not be able to be chosen.
- Percentage Complete % - Indicate the percentage of completion, any amount between 0-100.
- Status - Works in conjunction with Percentage Complete.
- If Percentage Complete is 0, Status = New
- If Percentage Complete is 100, Status = Completed
- All else is In Progress
- Criteria for Achievement - Set the details about how the employee affects the assigned goal.
5. Once all information is entered, select Save to apply the goal created.
6. Repeat the steps above to add additional goals for the corresponding employee.
7. When finished, select the ellipsis located in the bottom right hand corner of the screen and select Done.
At this point, the process of assigning a personal goal to the employee is officially Complete.
