How to Post a Job Requisition
Purpose
This document outlines the process of creating and submitting a job requisition in Elevated for Green Leaf clients.
Please be aware that this guide is not all encompassing and that the job requisition settings are customized per client. If you have any questions regarding a specific job requisition within your system or its purpose, please reach out to your HR Consultant or the
hrtechsupport@greenleafbizsolutions.com email for more information.
Creating a Job Requisition
- Once you've logged into your Elevated account, navigate to your dashboard and select the Job Requisition link within the Recruitment start button as shown below:
Please Note: If you are not seeing an option under the start button mentioned above, please reach out to your internal HR Team for assistance.
- Select the Add New button located in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
- Within the next window, we recommend as best practice to attach the correct Default Job first to ensure all defaults are populated (i.e. job title, job description, employee type, pay type.
- Once you tie the default job and select Yes to 'Override job information', be sure to complete the additional sections of the job requisition listed below:
- Job Title - this field will auto-populate after attaching the default job.
- Department - use the drop-down browse to search for the correct department (this fields dictates the executive approval group the job requisition will be sent to for first level approval).
- Job Requisition Location - use the drop-down browse to search for the correct address to display (this controls the job location that shows to applicants when applying).
- Career Portal - use the drop-down to select the correct career portal the opening should be displayed on.
- Ensure the Status & Visibility checkbox is checked.
- Visibility Date From & Visibility Date To - use the calendar icon to display the dates in which the position should remain open for.
- Number of Openings - enter the number of hires you wish to hire for this position.
- Ensure the Auto Change Status to Close and Filled When Filled checkbox is checked.
- Employee Type - use the drop-down to select the correct employee type to display (typically this will auto populate after adding the default job).
Please Note: All other fields in this section are optional.
- Description - this will auto populate if setup in the default job
- Please Note: since this is a required field, if the description did not populate from the default job and you do not have access to copy/paste, please contact HR at Gold Flora for assistance with getting the description added to the system before posting the opening.
- Applicant Questionnaire - use the drop-down to select the questionnaire; General Questionnaire (Internal) or General Questionnaire (External)
- The external questionnaire must be attached to submit the job requisition
- Job Categories / Job Industries - these are optional sections. You can indicate key words for applicants to use when searching on the career page.
- Hiring Stages - please skip this section. As best practice, please leave all hiring stages as default to ensure all candidates experience the hiring standard.
- Contact Information - add yourself as the Hiring Manager, and add the correct Recruiter and Executive corresponding to the opening.
- Primary Contact - this is the information that is displayed to the candidates.
- Requirements - please skip this section; all job descriptions include the requirements for the position.
- Compensation - this is required; indicate the pay range for this position (hourly vs salary).
- Summary - please skip this section; all job descriptions include the summary for the position.
- Custom Fields - please skip this section; once you submit, HR will fill out this section.
- Select to Save to post the job requisition on the career page and/or Indeed.
- Once saved, you can Preview how the posting will appear to candidates on the career page.
Please Note: If any required fields are missing, the system will alert you to fill the missing fields in before being able to successfully save.
Please Note: If your company's process has an approval process, be sure to follow the steps listed below. If your company does not have an approval process, the steps below can be skipped and you will have successfully posted a job requisition once you've Saved.
- When ready to finalize, select the Submit button to send for approval.
- You will receive an email if the job requisition is rejected. The email will tag the exact reason for rejection and instruct you to login and make the needed modifications and re-submit to the approver.
- Once the job requisition is approved, you will receive a notification that will let you know that it is approved and posted to the job board.
