How to Run a Turnover Report

This article will guide you through the steps to run a turnover report, allowing you to view employee turnover metrics by month, year, cost center, and more. You’ll learn how to access the reporting tool, select date ranges, apply filters, and generate customized reports to analyze turnover data and make informed workforce decisions.


Navigate to the menu (3 lines in the upper left corner) Team> HR>Reports>Turnover

Then you will select the type of turnover report you want to pull. See below for the different options. 


Turnover by Reason Code

Choose the desired date range to view turnover data. Once set, you’ll be able to see turnover broken down by the reason codes assigned to terminations.




Turn Over Rate Summary

This report displays the actual termination percentage, actual headcount, total terminations over the past 12 months, average headcount, and turnover rate by percentage.

Please select the date range and specify if you'd like to filter by a particular employee type. 



Turn over Rate by Cost Center

This report displays the actual termination percentage, actual headcount, total headcount at the beginning of the month, total headcount at the end of the month, total terminations over the past 12 months, total headcount over the past 12 months and turnover rate over the previous 12 months. 

Please select the date range and specify if you'd like to filter by a particular employee type. 

Toggle the "show all cost center levels" 

 


Turn Over Rate by EIN

Use this feature if you are a multi EIN company. This report displays the actual termination, actual headcount, total terminations over the past 12 months, average headcount over the past 12 months, and turnover rate by percentage.

Please select the date range and specify if you'd like to filter by a particular employee type and the EIN you want to view
