This article provides step-by-step instructions for temporarily reassigning a manager's responsibilities. This process is useful when a manager is on vacation or leave, allowing tasks such as time-off requests, timesheet change requests, and timesheet approvals to be routed to a designated team member for approval or denial during the manager's absence.
Access the profile of the manager who needs to temporarily assign their responsibilities to another team member.
Once in the profile, go to the HR tab and select Workflow Delegation.
Select the appropriate boxes:
Delegate to: Choose the team member to whom all requests will be routed.
Workflow Type: Select the workflow that needs to be routed to the person chosen in the "Delegate to" box.
Date From: Specify the start date for the workflow delegation.
Date To: Specify the end date for the workflow delegation.
