InTouch DX Set Up Instructions
Purpose
This document outlines the process of connecting your InTouch DX time clock to Green Leaf's Elevated System.
Please be aware that this guide is not all encompassing and that soft-key configurations are customized per client. If you have any questions regarding a specific soft-key within your time clock or its purpose, please reach out to your assigned Specialist for more information.
Step 1: Access Maintenance Mode
Select the three lines located on the right side of the device, just to the right of the screen.
Manager Password: 115190
Pressing this button will enable your team to enter "Maintenance Mode," allowing adjustments to Wi-Fi and additional settings.
Step 2: Connecting the Device to Elevated
Connecting via Wi-Fi:
Navigation path: Edit Settings > Connect to Network > Wi-Fi.
Select your desired Wi-Fi network and input the corresponding password, then select save.
If Wi-Fi connectivity is an issue, connecting via Ethernet is strongly encouraged to limit connectivity issues to Elevated.
Confirm that the status indicates "Connected."
If it does not, please confirm with your IT department that there are no firewall restrictions preventing you from connecting.
Connecting via Ethernet:
Use the included star wrench to remove the two screws located towards the top sides of the device.
Pull open the back casing (pull from the top using the hole to the left on the back) to access the Ethernet port.
TIP: The bottom of the back casing is attached using hinges, so it should swing open.
Feed the Ethernet cable through the bottom of the device where the power adapter cord is and plug in to the Ethernet port, the last port on the right.
Step 3: Testing Connectivity
Access Maintenance Mode by selecting the 3 lines under the Home button
Input the manager password: 115190.
Run Tests > Communications > Start Test
If the test displays “successful,” you have successfully connected to Elevated.
If the test shows “failed,” please revisit your Wi-Fi settings to ensure they are correct. Additionally, verify with your IT department that there are no firewall restrictions preventing your connection
Step 4: Enrolling Team Members
Please note all team members will need to be enrolled using their badge ID as it exists in Green Leaf today. Badge IDs cannot begin with a zero and must be unique, meaning they should not be associated with any existing accounts in Elevated, including those of terminated employees.
Select the Manager Login soft key.
Enter your badge ID to verify your access to this function.
Input the manager password: 115190.
Select the Enroll Finger soft-key.
Enter the employee's badge ID, search by name, or select from the list of employees.
Select the finger you would like to enroll.
The device will prompt the employee for three scans, then one final scan of the selected finger.
You will now have the option to return to the menu, choose a different finger to enroll, or enroll another employee.
