The chart below provides the current minimum wage rates for non-tipped and tipped employees, as well as the next scheduled increase (if applicable), for each state, the District of Columbia, various U.S. territories/commonwealths, and numerous local jurisdictions.
This table does not include minimum wages specific to individuals under a certain age (e.g., youth wage), employees in a "training" period, or those employed by non-profit organizations.
This chart is for informational purposes only and reflects announced state-rate changes as of the date listed above. While Green Leaf strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information, rates and regulations may change frequently, and Green Leaf assumes no liability for inaccuracies or for ensuring compliance with minimum wage laws. Employers are responsible for understanding and adhering to the applicable minimum wage rules for their jurisdictions.

Important Notice Regarding Minimum Wage Updates
Please review the updated minimum wage information carefully to ensure accuracy before implementing any changes, as rates can vary frequently by jurisdiction. Green Leaf provides this information as a courtesy and assumes no liability for inaccuracies or for ensuring compliance with minimum wage regulations. It is the employer's responsibility to understand and comply with the minimum wage laws applicable to their employees.
To calculate the minimum salary for an employee to be considered exempt, the general formula is: Exempt Salary= (Minimum Wage per Hour) × 2080 (Number of Work Hours) × 2
If necessary, update employee pay rates in RUN before January 1, 2025. Additionally, ensure that updated minimum wage notices are posted in each work location, as required by law.
