Submitting a Timesheet Change Request for Missing or Invalid Timesheet Entries in Elevated
What is a Timesheet Change Request?
A Timesheet Change Request allows you to correct or update your time/time off entries directly within the system.
You can use this feature to:
Add missing punches (e.g., forgetting to clock in or out)
Correct inaccurate time entries (e.g., adjusting a punch time)
Modify or cancel time off entries
Once submitted:
Your manager is notified of the request
The request must be approved before it appears on your timesheet as an official time entry
Examples:
If you forget to clock in at the start of your shift, you can submit a request to add a punch-in time
If you clock out but continue working, you can submit a request to adjust your punch-out time
Step 1: Log In and Access Your Timesheet
Log in to your Elevated account
Navigate to your timesheet using one of the following options:
Select “View My Timesheet” from the clock widget OR
Select the “My Timekeeping” widget, then choose “My Current Timesheet”
On your timesheet, click the blue “Change Request” button in the top-right corner
Select the appropriate request type from the list:
Add Punch In – Add a missing clock-in time
Add Punch Out – Add a missing clock-out time
Add Time Entry – Add both clock-in & out times
Modify Punch In – Edit an existing clock-in time
Modify Punch Out – Edit an existing clock-out time
Modify Time Off – Edit an existing time-off entry
Cancel Time Off – Remove an existing time-off entry
Note: Available options in the drop-down menu may vary depending on your organization’s setup.
Step 3: Enter Request Details
After selecting your Change Request type, the system will prompt you to enter the required information.
If Adding a Punch (Punch In or Punch Out):
You will need to provide:
Date of the shift – Select the correct work date
Time entry – Enter the appropriate time:
Start time (for Punch In)
End time (for Punch Out)
Comment – Include a brief explanation for the request
If Modifying a Punch (Punch In or Punch Out):
A list of days within the current pay period will display
Only days with existing time/time off entries will be selectable
Select the date you want to update
The system will automatically take you to the relevant field:
Punch In field (for Modify Punch In)
Punch Out field (for Modify Punch Out)
Update the time as needed and include a brief comment explaining the reason for the change. Please note that your manager must approve the request before it appears on your timesheet.
