Employee Level: Swapping Shifts & Requesting for Coverage
Navigate to your schedule page using one of the below methods:
Hover over the My Time Keeping widget and select My Schedule.
Scroll down to the My Schedule widget and click My Schedule.
Click the Menu (☰) > My Info tab > select the My Schedule icon > then click Schedule.

Search for your assigned shift
To request a schedule change, find the day by either scrolling or selecting it on the calendar to the left. Dates highlighted in blue represent your scheduled shifts. Once you locate the day, click the "Manage Shift" link next to your shift time.
If your company allows shift changes, you’ll see an icon next to the scheduled shift, indicating the option to drop or swap. This icon will only appear if both your company policy permits and the swap window is still open.

The first tab, Shift Swap, displays employees who are eligible to swap shifts with you. The second tab, Request Coverage, shows employees who are eligible to pick up or cover your shift.
Eligibility for both options is determined by your organization’s specific settings and may vary based on factors such as job position, assigned shifts, availability, approved time off, and other criteria. If no one is eligible, a banner will appear stating "No Data to Display" instead of a list of qualified employees.

Select Employees
Choose the employee(s) you’d like to send your shift change request to, then click "Submit." The peers you select will receive a notification about your request and have the option to either approve or decline it.
If a peer approves the request, your manager will then be notified and must review and either approve or reject the schedule change. It’s important to note that the shift will continue to belong to the employee it was originally assigned to until your manager approves the request. If your manager rejects it, you will be notified as well, and the shift will remain unchanged.

If you don’t see your request, check the filter in the top right corner to ensure you're viewing requests for the correct timeframe.

Viewing Schedule Requests from Peers
If you're on the receiving end of a schedule request, any new requests will appear in your Mailbox at the top of your To Do Items. You can approve or reject the request directly from there, or expand your view by selecting the My Mailbox hyperlink. After you make your selection, the system will ask you to confirm your choice and may prompt you to enter an optional comment, depending on your response. If you approve the request, your manager will receive a notification about the schedule change. They will then have the option to approve or reject it, similar to how it works when you initiate a request to a peer.
