Visual Refresh of Reports: Freeze Report Columns
As part of the Elevated UI Modernization, users now have the ability to "freeze" report columns in responsive reports. This functionality allows users to scroll laterally in a report while still viewing select columns.
Note: This only applies to responsive reports, and is not available in the mobile app.
Users can pin up to five columns in a responsive report. When a column is pinned in a report, the column will appear on the left side of the report and be stationary when a user scrolls laterally in the report.
To pin a column, select the column actions down arrow and choose Pin in the drop-down menu. To unpin a column, select the column actions down arrow and choose Unpin.
Users can also pin and unpin columns in the Add/Remove Columns pop-up window. When users open the Add/Remove Columns pop-up window, a pin icon appears in the Current Columns panel. Toggle the pin icon to pin/unpin a column.
Note: Custom columns and repeatable columns, such as the date-specific column in the Weekly Schedule report, are not supported
HR
We've introduced enhancements to improve the usability of Form I-9 and E-Verify. Form I-9 is now available in Spanish for users who have set their locale to Spanish.
E-Verify
A new Resend MOU Email button is available on the E-Verify product configuration page. As an administrator, you can select the button to receive the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) from E-Verify and complete your registration. You can use this option during initial employer registration or when company changes require a new MOU.
HR Bug Fixes
When a client had a "hyperlink within system" checklist item with the I-9 form report selected (HR > Forms > Government Forms > I-9s) and the report was opened from the new checklist experience, when the form was displayed it obstructed some of the buttons on the form, preventing them from being pressed. This has been fixed, and in this situation the I-9 form will now be displayed correctly without blocking action buttons.
TLM
Group Punch
There has not been a way for managers to add a punch to multiple employees at one time from a mobile device. The option to Mass Edit does allow a manager to add a punch for multiple employees at once but is not available from the mobile platform.
Example: An on-site manager needs to add a punch when his crew reaches the job site
This has been addressed in this release with a new menu item for Group Punch, located in the Timesheet menu. When chosen, a list of employees is displayed for selection.
To add a punch, select employees, choose the Punch button, then chooses the type of punch with date and time.
Note: Attestation and the On Punch Timesheet Rules are ignored with a group punch
The Group Punch page of employees contains options for filtering, sorting, searching, and employee Quick Links
- The Create Group button allows you to create a group that may exist only for group punching.
- The Manage Groups button allows you to select and edit or delete groups.
Additional Details
New options for Group Punch are found in Security settings under TLM. View Group Punch and Manage Group Punch Groups are available for selection.
- View Group Punch: This allows managers to view and access the Group Punch feature under the menu. If disabled, the Group Punch menu option is not visible.
- Manage Group Punch Groups: This allows managers to create new groups, manage existing groups, and delete groups within Group Punch.
Note: Group punch is only available for TLM subsystem. API calls have been created for Create Group, Get All Groups, Get Single Group
